Appropriate for Labor Day, the Waccamaw High football team turned in a workmanlike effort Monday night against visiting Creek Bridge. After a lackluster first half, the Warriors got going after the break, using a short touchdown jaunt by Jalen Simmons and Jeffron Smalls' breakaway run to provide themselves with the distance they needed in a 22-0 victory.
